"Two stars because the visit itself was nice, no issues. Two stars because I asked for a referral, left a message, no call back, but luckily I got ahold of someone the second time. Referral was emailed, but the file wouldn’t open, I email them back, no response after 3+ days. So I call them again on three separate days, multiple times per day– no answer. Left three messages, no call back. I found it very interesting that every single time I called, I got sent to voicemail, so I dialed again with *67. What do you know! They answered within one ring and the issue was resolved promptly. Very interesting, almost makes me say, “WTF,” because I don’t know why a medical office would dodge a patient’s calls. I would not recommend this place."
"Careful with this business and be sure to keep your receipts. I was assured that the billing specialists would inform me of any uncovered charges prior to receiving treatment. This was not the case. Upon leaving my second appointment I was surprised on the way out of charges that were not disclosed prior to treatment. I paid the charges in full immediately BUT received a duplicate bill in the mail a month later for the same charges. Fortunately, I kept my receipt which I took to the office upon which they immediately dropped the mailed bill. Again, fortunately, I didn’t just pay the duplicate mailed bill without checking. As an aside, I did not follow through with the suggested treatment plan because they could not inform me of the full cost that the entire procedure would be prior to starting the treatment plan. This to me was a deceptive practice as once the first step was completed (which cost several thousand dollars) the second step (for which they could not quote a price) would be necessary to complete. It felt like a potential "financial hostage" situation that I wanted no part of. It’s unfortunate as I felt the dentist was reasonable and likely highly skilled. It’s just the billing/clerical coordination of care was opaque."
"Dr Ndoj. is Concerned Dental’s best kept secret. He is absolutely the BEST! He is knowledgeable, personable, kind and has hands as light as a feather. I have been his patient for several years now and he has always resolved my teeth problems in the best way possible. I can honestly say having dental work done with Dr. Ndoj is never painful or stressful. If you go to Yonkers concerned dental, go to Dr Ndoj you won’t be disappointed!! 5/5 for Doc!!"

"Recently my employer dental insurance has changed to DMO/HMO which my very last dental office near home had dropped this type of insurance. So now looking to make an appt I needed to find an office that did accept. So I phoned Alexandra from Concerned Dental, an office that i visited prior to my last one, & was pleasantly surprised they accepted this change in insurance. I had attempted weeks ago to find the next dental office i was going to visit but began & then put it off. It was too much of a hassle. This time I drove all the way over to the default dental office the insurance was giving me. That's when I said let me give Concerned Dental a last call & see if they accept my Guardian. Sure enough they do! Thanks to Alexandra & her efforts I know I'll be in good hands. She definitely took the time to handle my issue & really gave me good news. "**This is 100% an honest real review of Concerned Dental in Farmingville. I ended up at Concerned Dental after calling at least 15 other dentist offices that did not take my insurance. It was frustrating. I had alot of dental work that I needed done. It started with a root canal that my insurance did not cover. Jenn, one of the employees at Concerned helped me with figuring out how I would pay for the root canal I needed. I was really grateful & I felt like she actually cared. Once that was all taken care of I finally met the Dentist that would be doing the procedure. Dr. Rodopoulos was her name. I had SO much anxiety about having the procedure done. My heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears ! Dr Rodopoulos literally made me feel so comfortable. I'm the type of person that likes to know what's going and she told me every step of the way ! I'm bringing my fiancee here from Sachem Dental, he wasn't happy with the way they did things over there. I really feel like this is my forever dentist. Which is a very good feeling. "I had the pleasure of having melody clean my teeth today. Not only was she genuinely *Concerned* with my oral hygiene, she cleaned my teeth so well I now have a front tooth gap. I know my teeth are truly clean when I can squirt saliva through each tooth, and my mouth is now basically a water gun - just in time for summer. I am often a difficult patient to deal with, but her caring, gentle touch kept my mouth at ease. X-rays are never fun, but melody made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend!"
"This rating is solely based on my interaction with Alexandra. I called to schedule an appointment with an endodontist and she was very helpful and catered to my needs. She gave me her undivided attention and demonstrated great professionalism. Once I received my appointment, I expressed to her that if there’s any cancellations, to please notify me because I am experiencing tremendous pain. She went back to the system to verify if there were any cancellations. She’s such an angel, she happen to find a cancellation and schedule me in for that slot. I had a root canal done on my front tooth by Dr Greg Ortenberg and I am 100 percent so happy with how he took such great care of me. He explained every he was going to be doing and why he was doing it! I’m very impressed and very grateful to have had such an awesome root canal experience. I highly recommend anyone needing a root canal or any dental work to make an appointment with Concerned Dental ! I was never feeling inconvenienced but instead in care of good hands. I travel back and forth from PA and NY and have limited times in NY. Jennifer and I spoke and she understood my schedule promising to contact the lab, coordinate the color technician to come to office and she would work on several options. While in PA jennifer called me but it didn’t work out because I was not due back in NY so jennifer just did what she said she would…she kept up with attempts to coordinate this important next visit and she did not give up until my schedule lined up with when the technician would be at the office. I forgot but jennifer would not allow me to forget and today the meeting was completed and a color match was confirmed! A part of me says oh it’s just teeth but no….your efforts are allowing me to keep my smile and for that I am very grateful!"

I was numbed quickly and fully within seconds of sitting in the chair, he explained everything thoroughly and put my mind at ease. The entire root canal took about 20 minutes and I was done an out in a total of 45 minutes. "I don’t usually write reviews, but Dr. Ndoj was so amazing that I had to take the time to let others know about my experience. I'm typically always nervous to visit the dentist over fear of being overcharged and being in excessive pain. But after an accident, I chipped my front tooth and needed a filling due to pain and sensitivity surrounding the tooth. I visited another dentist who (long story short) didn't do a good job and left me in more pain than before. So, I decided to visit Dr. Ndoj at Concerned Dental Care and let me tell you I can't stop smiling both because of my experience and my results! The filling looks like my natural tooth!! It doesn't feel too big like the previous ones and I even experienced no pain after I left the office. From the very beginning, Dr. Ndoj made sure I was comfortable and pain-free. The filling didn't even take long and was painless, which is usually never the case for me during the procedure or after I leave the office. Another thing I appreciated was that Dr. Ndoj saved me so much money instead of finding ways to charge/overcharge like other dentists. If you need a dentist that cares about you and the quality of the service you receive, then you need to pay Dr. Ndoj a visit!! You won't regret it!!! When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist was friendly and again very courteous. It was explained to me that the doctor was a little behind but my wait was a lot less than told which was a relief. The dental assistant (Tenine) who took my x-rays was friendly. She made me feel extremely comfortable and made me laugh. Doctor Rodopoulos was also very friendly and very professional. Thank you to Jennifer also for explaining what I need to get done and what my insurance was handling. Jennifer was also very friendly and courteous. My overall experience was great. I will say that there was a bit of a wait, but once I was called back it didn’t take long at all. I have pretty severe anxiety and have never had to get a filling before so I was more than a little nervous. I had Dr. Campbell and he calmed my worries the minute he entered the room. He is super personable and made me feel right at ease without even knowing it was my first time. The process was fairly quick and surprisingly painless. I was very happy with the results. He was also very patient with me and making sure everything was done correctly and to my liking. I didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s nice to find a doctor that appears to actually listen and care without rushing you out the door. "I had to get a root canal and two crowns put in this past summer. I previously saw Dr. Ndoj at the Bronx location but he ended up transferring to this location by the time I was able to see him. It was months. When I went back to the Bronx location they told me I couldn’t see the dentists from their location, rather I had to see him. At first I was annoyed--but I AM SO GLAD THAT IT WORKED OUT LIKE THAT. Dr. Ndoj is the best! When I got to the office they saw me immediately, which I really appreciate. Make sure you arrive on time to your appointment because they move quickly and are on schedule! The thing I really liked about Dr. Ndoj is that you can tell he’s not just a good dentist but a good person. He works with his patients and is very personable. He went out of his way to make sure I wasn’t charged ridiculous amounts of money. And as we all know... many doctors and businesses will do what they can to drain you of your money. As for the procedures. I was in a lot of pain at one point. He made sure to communicate consistently throughout the procedure and asked me if I needed a break or needed to be numbed more. I had one cavity that needed filling they worked with my schedule got me in and out with in 20 minutes. Hands down best customer service I have gotten all 2019. "I had root canal for the first time ever. I go the the dentist for the cleaning, but I do NOT enjoy it. Dr. Ndoj is the BEST. If dentists can have "bedside manner", he has the best and he is the best. He just made me feel so calm with everything. I was so, so nervous to have them done. He really was great before, during and after the root canals. The treatment I received from him and his staff was nothing short of great. I have been going to them for a while now for my cleanings (which is all I really needed) and I will definitely continue to go. Thanks."

"I have been coming here for years. As everyone knows COVID-19 has changed everything...There were only 3 chairs in the waiting area. In a way this is now good because in the past you could have an appointment and never be seen on time because of the volume of people in the office waiting. On my last visit I only had to wait 10 mins for my hygienist appt. Lucinda is great and I always ask for her. She's gentle and always tries to keep you comfortable...The front desk staff was nice too..."

"I'll admit I'm afraid of the dentist and for that reason I put off going but I finally had a tooth that was telling me girl it's time to go. I was so nervous but the staff was great unfortunately I ended up needing an extraction on the tooth that was hurting and I have to say Dr Herman did a great job! He numbed me really good and I swear it took all of 5 mins and he was done! I was shocked! You do feel a bit pressure but to be expected when they are taking a tooth out but 0 pain! This office has definitely eased my concerns about the dentist and I'm happy to go back."

"I want to thank Dr. Siciliano, Sha, Jennifer and the entire team of this dental practice. I went in with a very old problem and left after a few visits all fixed up and with a beautiful smile. Dr. Siciliano was patient, kind and exhibited a level of expertise and care I thought was long gone in our country. I am so glad I was wrong. For those who are asking, yes there are a few extra steps (masks, distancing- while waiting to be seen) but this is to be expected. Do not hesitate if you are on the fence. The office and dental "work" areas are clean, they have air filtration devices and everyone around is protectively dressed (for everyone’s safety). So....if you are looking for a dentist where people not only know what they are doing, but they enjoy what they are doing- pay a visit here and ask for Dr. Siciliano and her associates. "My regular chosen dentist made a referral to visit a Periodontist and Oral Surgeon. I looked at reviews via ZocDoc, Yelp and many other sites. I eliminated many based on mixed reviews. Dr. Kaufman was steady with 4.5 to 5 stars. I then searched via My insurance provider to narrow my choices. I narrowed my search to three Doctors. I individually dissected each one based on *credentials* , reviews, availability before/ after the regular 9 am-5 pm schedules, etc. I wanted to start my treatment as soon as possible so I began to call my top three finalist. The young gentlemen that answered the phone was beyond pleasant with patience and was really looking into the schedule to accommodation me for a consultation. I was excited just because of how well he took my call. I think his name is Christian. On Sept 1, I received a call stating if I can arrive at least 15 minutes before my 5:30 pm appointment for Sept 2. No problem, I can do that. Then I received multiple calls about coming in earlier, at 5:00 pm. It was pushing it, but will try. Then another call came in if I can come at 4:30 pm. That one was difficult. At this point I was thinking, I work and prefer the earliest before 9 am, during my lunch or latest after 5 pm appointment available. Did staff assume I do nothing during the day. Nevertheless, I arrived just a couple of minutes before 5 pm on Sept 2, 2020. Front desk didn't acknowledge my presence because they were busy talking. For a moment I did not feel welcomed. I was thinking and asked myself, should I get the consultation (since I am here) and call the other providers for treatment or just leave. Moments upon check in, a technician came to escort me for X-Rays. The Female staff was very dry and sour in her tone. I didn't expect bubbly but I wanted some type of, "I like my job" attitude. She took me to consult with Dr. Kaufman where he confirmed what my Dentist had stated based on the X-Rays I already provided. Nothing was set on stone, just possibilities of my treatment. No gimmicks. I felt that I made a good choice with him. He was noted to be one of the best so I went for it. Upon conclusion, one of the receptionist was providing a two weeks later appointment. I thought, this wasn't going to work out for me. I almost was going to take the appointment just to cancel it after getting an appointment with one of the other providers. Dr. Kaufman immediately intervene (as if reading my thoughts) and took a look at the schedule with her and was able to provide a date and time within a week. This was great. I can come during my lunch hour and not loose too much time from work. Dr. Kaufman's professionalism made up for the unforeseen disappointments towards the very end."

"Yesterday I went to concerned dental for my first dentist appointment in a very long time with a chipped tooth. The care I received was so fantastic! The staff and the dentist are spot on; they were so helpful and friendly and I did not realize I was going to be able to leave that day with a brand new smile! I will be going back in two weeks for my permanent porcelain crown but for now I have a very nice temporary tooth. I was also impressed with how the staff were respectful of my time and did everything they could to get me out of the office in good.When I returned for my permanent crown I was so very happy with the results! I have no idea why I waited so long to fix my smile but am ever so thankful and happy to have it back!!"
"I needed to get a tooth extraction and was extremely terrified. I expressed this to the assistant and the oral surgeon and felt so much more comfortable immediately. I brought my best friend with me because of my nerves, and we were wearing scrubs from school today. The doctor took the time to teach us medical information and tips and just all around shared his knowledge with us which I was very intrigued by. He took the time to comfort and even teach me things?! Amazing. I will remember this man forever as he has made quite an impact on me in just one small visit. The assistant, Claudia, also went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I even requested her specifically for my extraction because there was another assistant that was initially going to help out but I just felt so comfortable with Claudia. She even gave me a hug as I was leaving bc I voiced how much she impacted me. The receptionist, Elyse, was also very helpful and sweet. I highly recommend this practice as they offer everything from oral surgery, general dentistry and even have an endodontist! Well done!!!"
