Some of the dental technologies that we use at our New York City offices are:

Digital X-rays: Digital dental x-rays are used to produce very clear, high-quality images of the mouth, and use much less radiation than traditional methods. These are useful in evaluating the health of your mouth, finding cavities, and diagnosing dental diseases.

Intraoral Cameras (IOCs): Intraoral cameras allow our dental team to get a good look at the inside of the mouth. More traditional, handheld mirrors tend to fog up and distort our view, so IOCs are very helpful in seeing the soft tissues of the mouth.

CBCT Scan: A CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) is performed when a cone-shaped x-ray beam is moved around the patient. This dental scan produces a large number of images and is used to get a good look at the jaw, bone structures of the face, the sinuses, and more.

I had to get a new bridge, and I have to say it was excellent care. My whole family goes there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

All of the staff including the Doctor were wonderful and I was able to get an appointment quickly. I thought I needed a root canal and the Doctor confirmed that. The nice thing is that they do root canals in the office. Lots of other dentists make you go to someone else for root canals. I gave them a four instead of a five because their office could use a refresh. It’s looking well worn. The other reason is that they don’t have any parking and street parking is a little difficult to find. I got the impression that most of their patients walked to the office but I’m in Westchester and had to drive.

Most of our dental patients, both children and adults, benefit from the dental technologies we offer. They help our team efficiently and accurately identify such things as cavities, gum disease, damaged teeth, and more. Additionally, these technologies may help reduce appointment times, increase healing, and create a more relaxing dental experience. The dental technologies we offer even make it possible for patients with certain medical conditions to get quality care when otherwise their condition would disqualify them from care.

The dental technologies used during your appointment at Concerned Dental Care will vary based on the type of treatment you are receiving. For many, we will use a combination of these tools in order to produce an accurate diagnosis and aid us in creating a treatment plan. Generally, digital x-rays are taken during your first appointment so we have a detailed view of your mouth on hand for future visits. These dental technologies allow us to provide an enhanced treatment opportunity so you can have better oral health overall.

About Us

A lot of insurance companies provide full, or at least partial, coverage for digital x-rays. Coverage may differ for our other dental technologies, however. Someone from our office will get in touch with your insurance provider so we can verify your coverage and any out-of-pocket expenses. We will go over the estimated costs with you before creating your treatment plan so you know what to expect. We're happy to accept a variety of forms of payment to make getting proper dental care convenient.
