One relatively simple method to make over your smile and hide chipped, crooked, decayed, or stained teeth is with porcelain veneers at Concerned Dental Care. Dental veneers are light shells created out of porcelain, which can be secured to the front of your teeth to enhance the appearance of your smile. Offering customized veneers, and with minimal prep, our doctors of dental medicine can help improve the color, size, shape, or length of your teeth. Make a consultation at our New York City, NY office or one of our surrounding area locations to learn more about porcelain veneers and decide if they are suitable for your needs.
Who Can Have Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are often used to quickly mask stains and chips in your enamel, improve misaligned or worn down teeth, and fix teeth that are unevenly spaced or shaped. At Concerned Dental Care, your porcelain veneers will be custom created to fit snugly over your teeth for an attractive, natural look. At your consultation, we will listen to your objectives and concerns so we can personalize your procedure. We will also perform an oral exam to review the total health of your mouth. You shouldn't have symptoms of gum disease or habitually clench your jaw and grind your teeth (called bruxism) in order to qualify for this procedure.
Concerned Dental Care Reviews
Called them when I was having an emergency and they got me in right away. Pain free and very nice during the process. Will be going here from now on.
Everyone is always really nice
I’ve had a phobia of the dentist for as long as i could remember. As someone that suffers from an anxiety disorder , coming here was a big step for me. Before i used to be so scared to even go inside , crazy panic attacks and have all the fear raging through my body. Before coming here, i did not visit a dentist for 10+ years , but the ladies at this office completely changed my perspective . They were nothing but beyond excellent . On top of this Dr. Antoinette Siciliano Is nothing but patient and understanding. she made me feel safe which is something that we often overlook at in the health field. Besides having such great traits, her staff is an example of how great of a leader she is, and i hope everyone has the same amazing experience as i do every-time i pass by. Thank you again to the entire team ! 10/10
First, Marge is an amazing person. She did everything she could to deal with my insurance company. The staff was amazing and just perfect. The doctor who worked on my teeth, BTW, 3 for canals in 1 sitting, was awesome. Told me everything he was doing, step by step, through the whole journey. And no pain. Thank you all for the great treatment.
Haven't been there yet, I have an upcoming appointment..I must say Alexandra was very friendly very professional. And I didn't have to wait long to get in touch with the office. Very pleased about that and with Alexandra..

What Can I Expect When Getting Porcelain Veneers?
When you have decided on your unique treatment plan, we will take digital or physical impressions of your teeth. Your porcelain veneers are crafted in a dental laboratory from high-quality porcelain. When your veneers are ready, we will have you come back into our office, where we will carefully take off a little bit of enamel from the front of your teeth. This allows room for the veneers and will enhance the bond for a natural outcome that lasts a long time. When your veneers are bonded, we can make minor adjustments so your veneers are comfortable.
What is the Expected Recovery When Getting Porcelain Veneers?
Since getting veneers usually does not require anesthesia, you should be able to continue your daily tasks after your appointment at any of our New York area offices. You may experience some sensitivity to hot and cold food for a couple of days, but this should subside naturally. Your veneers should be cared for like your natural teeth with daily flossing and brushing. While cosmetic veneers are resistant to stains compared to your natural enamel, you should still stay away from staining drinks and food to keep your smile white. To prevent damaging your veneers, you should not chew on hard objects, like your fingernails or ice. Continue to go to dental exams and cleanings at Concerned Dental Care so we can monitor the condition of your veneers, teeth, gums, and overall oral health. We will let you know if and when your veneers will need to be repaired or replaced.
