Concern Dental of the Bronx has many specialists in one site which makes it very easy for referrals without confusing your insurance. The specialist from oral hygienist, to Maxine, X-ray tech, Root canal, all the dental professionals are extremely skilled and highly qualified and gentle. The office has been updated and cleaned.The problem which is a huge problem is upon calling the office your placed on hold for over 35 minutes, front desk picks up the phone to place you back on hold only to be hung up. Several occasions I waited over 2 hours on hold before reaching a live receptionist. This is unacceptable. #2 I have insurance that is in network with all specialist and the office itself, however front desk continue to tell me I have a copay for a deep cleaning. I asked them to look into the insurance portal which they have access to your insurance information. The front desk shared she is looking and it states you have copay. That’s impossible. I called my insurance where the representative had to tell the front desk look into the portal this member has no copay. Not only I was refered to see a specialty Dr for possible bone surgery she once again try to tell me the insurance doesn’t cover $8000.00. I sat with billing and asked them are you going into my insurance and of course once again she stated yes. I made another call to my insurance and of course my insurance covers the cost for insurance. My insurance is contracted with concern dental and there dentist combined with specialty care which means they agree to cover what the insurance bills for not what concerns bills for. In one visit they try to tell me I had to come out of pocket until I had the representative talk to them and then they cleared up the confusion. How is it confusing when they have access to my insurance ?? Please be careful the front desk ain’t trying to take your money. I will be Shari g this concern to management and to the doctors. Answer the phone on a timely fashion and know the members insurance without trying to scheme them out of money. Not many people will be diligent with knowing their insurance let alone the elderly people that may need to call and may need help with phone calls to their insurance company. Front desk please get better with this. Unacceptable

I had a very positive experience at Concerned Dental Care of the Bronx today. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was welcoming, professional, and very pleasant while assisting me with my information.The X-ray technician was also friendly, patient, and professional. He carefully completed my X-rays so the dental team could determine what work was needed. I then had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist, and the entire cleaning went very well. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment.After my X-rays, I met with the dental doctor, who took the time to review the results with me and explain the dental work that needs to be done. He also explained that I would need to see a bone specialist and took the time to clearly explain the reason for the referral and the additional work that may be necessary. I really appreciated how thoroughly he explained everything and made sure I understood the next steps. Overall, I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. I truly appreciate the professionalism, communication, and care provided by the entire staff. I would definitely recommend Concerned Dental Care of the Bronx to anyone looking for a caring and professional dental office.
