"My experience at this office was really nice—everyone was kind, funny, and personable. As someone with severe dental anxiety, I felt at ease and not at all judged. I used to hate the idea of the dentist, but now I actually look forward to taking care of my dental health. One issue to note: the phone number listed on Google connects to an AI system that may schedule appointments the office doesn’t recognize. This happened to me, but luckily, they fit me in for a consultation. They do have another number you can text or call, so I hope they make that clearer online. Aside from that, I highly recommend this place!"

"Dr. Wolf is the best. The hygienist is also very good. The office staff is pleasant enough but tend to not answer the phone. The biller doesn’t seem to handle insurance problems, but has the patient deal with any insurance problems. That’s the reason for only 4 stars."

"I went to concerned dental Care of Farmingville today to have major work done on my top teeth that had cracked front teeth and a tooth missing with a broken retainer holding in a tooth in a tooth wear the space was. Dr. Fahima Mahmud and Anthony her dental assistant did all the work to make me caps and fix my teeth and make a temporary set to wear home while the new set was made. I was in the chair 3 hours! They don't have sweet air! They were so professional and caring and made sure I was comfortable and given enough novocaine that I wouldn't experience any pain! When they were down to the last tooth, I told the doctor I felt pain and was immediately given more novocaine! I go back in 2 weeks to get my new teeth!"

Bonnie & another( DA) I didn't catch her name she has amazing (eye lashes ) both were so lovely to me. I kinda had a mini breakdown in the chair tears were streaming JEN oh JEN !! I dnt know what wld of happened if it wasn’t for her, she stayed with me and calmed me down for like 15 minutes she didn’t leave my side, she started to chat with me to help calm me down and it worked 😊 That’s what being in healthcare is all about going that lil extra mile for your patient's I appreciated that more than she will ever know I Love this place !!"

"First I want to say I literally have a panic attack before I go to the dentist. This has been since I was a child. Since I've been seeing Kristy as my hygienist it's not as intense. I look forward to going in for my cleaning without tears. She is the best hygienist I have ever had! The one time I didn't realize my appointment wasn't with her I honestly was upset about it. AND she was there that day! I am required to go every 3 months for a cleaning. I am convinced she is the reason I haven't been referred back to the periodontist. She deep cleans my gums so well my mouth feels fresh for days AND I'm afraid to start eating again 😝 If she left this office. I would definitely be upset and I would probably follow her. If I ever needed to have another procedure done in the office (which I do and I've been putting it off) I might need her there to calm me down before they begin LOL My "favorite" dentist left the practice years ago and I wasn't happy about it...luckily I liked the new one. I hope this practice gives Kristy whatever she wants she is definitely an asset. Don't lose her! She is the type of person that patients will be happy to see and continue to return. She also takes the time to know you despite the limited time you spend with her. Sometimes all it takes is a smile. BTW my kids like her too!"

"For over twelve years I've been a patient of Concerned Dental's offices. Several accidents and poor care from the VA left my smile broken and crooked but Concerned always saw to my needs and worked diligently with my employer's insurance, even when it changed, to get me the best care and cosmetics. Once, my sinuses were so congested it felt like I needed a root canal. It was a Saturday and they were past closing time but they took me in for x-rays. The DDS reassured and relieved me. Their hygienists are the most meticulous and professional, especially Kristy whose own bright, straight smile reveals she takes her work home with her. She does her best to make sure your smile is just as perfect."

"Hello my name is Jeanine and I'm a patient at concern dental I've had so many dentists in the past not good the stuff they did is already falling out just about the whole atmosphere of dentist office weren't good concerned dental I got greeted like I was a person they've known forever everybody that works there and I'm going to name them by name Jen Cheryl Emily Evan Dr Herman Dr wortenberg and Dr Ganz have shown such amazing talents I should say the root canals I have never had a root canal that I didn't have to get like knocked out for or guess nothing but Novocaine 10 minutes the best root canals I've ever had and I have seven more to go the other doctors you know one does extractions one does root canals one does crowns it's like one stop shopping the place itself the people of the front desk when you walk in you feel so comfortable all your worries go away I would recommend concerned dental to anybody it's in farmingville they have other offices but I don't know where you only have to do is Google it but I'm telling you if you need a dentist that's the place to go"

"Two stars because the visit itself was nice, no issues. Two stars because I asked for a referral, left a message, no call back, but luckily I got ahold of someone the second time. Referral was emailed, but the file wouldn’t open, I email them back, no response after 3+ days. So I call them again on three separate days, multiple times per day– no answer. Left three messages, no call back. I found it very interesting that every single time I called, I got sent to voicemail, so I dialed again with *67. What do you know! They answered within one ring and the issue was resolved promptly. Very interesting, almost makes me say, “WTF,” because I don’t know why a medical office would dodge a patient’s calls. I would not recommend this place."

"**This is 100% an honest real review of Concerned Dental in Farmingville. I ended up at Concerned Dental after calling at least 15 other dentist offices that did not take my insurance. It was frustrating. I had alot of dental work that I needed done. It started with a root canal that my insurance did not cover. Jenn, one of the employees at Concerned helped me with figuring out how I would pay for the root canal I needed. I was really grateful & I felt like she actually cared. Once that was all taken care of I finally met the Dentist that would be doing the procedure. Dr. Rodopoulos was her name. I had SO much anxiety about having the procedure done. My heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears ! Dr Rodopoulos literally made me feel so comfortable. I'm the type of person that likes to know what's going and she told me every step of the way ! I know my teeth are truly clean when I can squirt saliva through each tooth, and my mouth is now basically a water gun - just in time for summer. "Heard at least 4 apologies in past few month for inconvenience to me yet I never felt any were due me simply said Dr. Gantz insisted on getting it right (colors for crowns) and that level of pride in one’s work carried with it enormous confidence to the patient. I was never feeling inconvenienced but instead in care of good hands. I travel back and forth from PA and NY and have limited times in NY. Jennifer and I spoke and she understood my schedule promising to contact the lab, coordinate the color technician to come to office and she would work on several options. While in PA jennifer called me but it didn’t work out because I was not due back in NY so jennifer just did what she said she would…she kept up with attempts to coordinate this important next visit and she did not give up until my schedule lined up with when the technician would be at the office. I need a lot of work done, I have seen the oral surgeon, the root canal specialist, the Hygienist and the regular dentist and each one of them have been amazing, friendly, comforting and caring. It is still a bit of a wait sometimes but I haven't experienced anything over 20 minutes and I could easily say that this is the case at most medical/dental offices these days. I feel like the staff as a whole is so helpful and friendly and I appreciate the follow up phone calls I receive. I love Dr.Z. He tells me like it is! Concerned Dental of Farmingville has been my Dental Care Facility for the last 3 or 4 years. I walked in off the street one day with the worst toothache of my life, on a Saturday, begging for help. My own Dentist was off that day, and my next stop would have been a Hospital Emergency Room. They say 1st impressions mean a lot, and in this case they meant everything to me. The girl at the recp. desk that day was Jennifer. Right away, she assured me that I would be okay, and she would make sure I got to see a dentist, the very minute one became available. The waiting room was full, so I was pleasantly surprised that she was able to do that, and she did. I found relief that day, and made a friend. I went back for a follow up and some work, and due to the kindness and caring of Jennifer, I stayed. Every time I go there, she greets me like I am important. She is always professional, always smiling, and she makes going to the dentist a little better. You can tell she cares about her work, and the people she works with, and the patients who come through the door. "I went in thinking I only had to get 1 tooth extracted & my oral surgeon looked at my xrays and suggested I get all 3 extracted. He went over the procedure in detail twice & made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen. And he talked to me the whole time, which really helped, I feel like you think too much if it’s quiet, he had great music playing & started a convo about his favorite son that came on! My 2 teeth were really stubborn & did not want to budge, but he kept asking if I felt anything & if I was alright, of course I was. Even with the 2 stubborn teeth the whole procedure lasted 10 mins!! He was AWESOME!! I would 10/10 recommended him to anyone who needs dental work!! He went over the post-op care in detail about 2-3 times to make sure I knew what I was doing & he made sure I knew to call his office if I needed ANYTHING or if anything didn’t feel right! Will definitely be going back for any dental work I need in the future"

"I went to Concerned dental in need of all four of my Wisdom teeth removed. After a consult with Dr Herman he suggested we remove all four at once, this was a little concerning to me especially since he does not use I.V sedation. I opted to just get two removed at a time, upper and lower right side. Once I was completely numb Dr Herman made sure I was comfortable and couldn't feel anything before he Began the extraction. Once he started all I felt was some pressure, and in less than 5min both teeth were removed. I didn't even realize both teeth were done! I had very little discomfort later on at night that a couple of Advil helped with. I had absolutely no swelling at all, even the next day. I will be going back to have my other two removed. I appreciate Dr. Herman making me feel comfortable and acknowledging my concerns!"

A year ago I had some dental work done in California that was not done correctly and I ended up needing a root canal specialist. I was visiting my family last March I needed 2 emergency root canals!!! Can you say the WORST visit to NY ever? Fire ants, you got that visual.Here's where concerned dental care of farmingville saved my life.I must have had some good karma racked up because I called them and got Dr. Bonanno & he is the the ROCK STAR of Endodontists. I cannot believe the calming bed side manner & professionalism this guy has! If he had a Super hero power it would be the ability to take away anxiety and get the job done right the first time. Almost a year later my California dentist tells me to go to a friend of his because I need another root canal. HELL NO.I purposely flew 3,000 miles just to make an appointment with Dr.B because I know it will be painless and done correctly. This Endodontist is truly spectacular. He had an assistant named Linda and she was friendly, gentle and made you feel at ease while she was running the room. Terrific team, epic players. Kudos to Dr.Bonanno and the assistant Linda. If I ever need another Root Canal I will not hesitate to fly across country AGAIN just to book an appointment with him!!! A total of 3 root canals with Dr.B since March of last year and all were successful. NO PAIN, FAST AND DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME5 stars!! 10 if I could!!!"
"Wow, DO NOT even read those other 1 star reviews, here’s why: They all have 1 review, no Yelp friends & are sad sacks. Look at the pedigree of my Yelp. I write about my entire experience & especially customer service. I cannot believe Concerned Dental of Farmingville got such bad reviews but I know it’s fiction!!!! Most people only write a scathing review and are only on YELP with 1 review anyway... So pay no mind to them. CONCERNED DENTAL CARE ARE GREAT!!!Here is my story...(and if you take a breath, you lose a turn) I’m pretty sure just about 90% of us hate going to the dentist and hearing the words ROOT CANAL. That’s what I heard. It sucked and is the emotional equivalent to having a condom filled with fire ants. I live in Los Angeles & I also have a home on Long Island. A year ago I had some dental work done in California that was not done correctly and I ended up needing a root canal specialist. I was visiting my family last March I needed 2 emergency root canals!!! Can you say the WORST visit to NY ever? "I’m surprised at the horrible reviews. I had extreme tooth pain due to a cracked cavity that should have been pulled years ago. I called them as a new patient at around 2pm and was given an appointment at 4:30 pm the same day with the oral surgeon. When I got there I waited about 30 minutes or less before I was seen. They immediately took xrays and confirmed I had a cracked cavity. Told them I wanted it pulled, and within a half hour, my tooth was pulled and the assistant (I can’t remember his name, but he’s an Indian gentleman) was SO helpful. Answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable. I will be returning here for regular check ups."
